Themba Gorimbo, a Zimbabwean mixed martial artist, has received threats from self-professed prophet Jay Israel. Jay Israel, a Zanu-PF member, has close ties to the president of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa. Themba received threats from Jay Israel because of his post exposing the Zanu-PF regime’s cruelty and corruption. Jay Israel’s threats are a clear reflection of Zanu-PF’s modus operandi of violence and murder. Zanu-PF believes that there is no freedom of speech, and therefore one has to be punished if they criticise the regime. There is no rule of law in Zimbabwe. Emmerson Mnangagwa and Zanu-PF must go.
